Moist Chocolate Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ¾ cups white sugar
02 - 2 cups plain flour
03 - 2 tsp of baking powder
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 cup hot water
06 - ½ cup cooking oil
07 - ¾ cup cocoa powder
08 - ½ tsp salt
09 - 1 tsp baking soda
10 - 1 cup of milk
11 - 2 tsp pure vanilla

→ Frosting details

12 - ½ cup whipping cream
13 - 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
14 - ½ cup cocoa (unsweetened)
15 - 1 tsp of vanilla
16 - 1 cup butter, softened

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans (9-inch).
02 - In one big bowl, stir together cocoa, flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar with a whisk.
03 - Toss in eggs, oil, vanilla, and milk. Stir until the mix is smooth and shiny. End by folding in hot water—it'll look thin, but that's fine.
04 - Pour batter evenly into the two pans. Bake 30-35 minutes. A toothpick poked in the center should come out clean.
05 - Leave cakes in their pans for about 10 minutes, then carefully move them to a rack to cool all the way.
06 - Whip butter until it’s airy. Gradually add cocoa, sugar, cream, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and fluffy.
07 - Spread a nice layer of frosting over one cake. Put the second cake on top, then frost the top and sides.
