01 -
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prep a baking tray with parchment or a light coat of grease.
02 -
Sprinkle the chicken strips with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and some salt and pepper.
03 -
Take each piece of chicken and wrap it with a slice of bacon. Stick the ends in place with a toothpick if it won't stay put.
04 -
Spread out the brown sugar in a shallow dish. Roll the bacon-wrapped chicken in it, patting it gently to make sure it sticks. Use any leftover sugar to sprinkle over the top.
05 -
Drizzle each piece with a bit of olive oil or butter to help it brown while cooking.
06 -
Lay the chicken tenders on the baking tray you prepared earlier.
07 -
Cook in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Flip them halfway until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is fully cooked (the inside should be 165°F/74°C).
08 -
Turn on the broiler for a couple of minutes to crisp the bacon even more. Keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
09 -
Place on a plate while still warm, pour any juices from the pan over the top, and sprinkle parsley if you'd like.
