02 - ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
03 - 1 leveled teaspoon of baking soda
04 - ¼ teaspoon of fine salt
05 - ¾ cup soft butter, unsalted
06 - 1 cup white sugar
07 - 1 large egg, room temperature
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
09 - ¼ cup of milk, any kind
10 - ½ cup of chocolate morsels

→ Cheesecake Filling

11 - Softened cream cheese, 8 oz
12 - ¼ cup icing sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven and set it to 350°F (175°C). Place a parchment sheet onto a baking tray.
02 - Stir the flour, baking soda, cocoa, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl.
03 - Using a large mixing bowl, whisk your softened butter and white sugar until fluffy and smooth.
04 - Mix the milk, egg, and vanilla into the butter-sugar combo. Ensure it's blended well.
05 - Slowly incorporate the dry bowl mix into the wet one. Don't overmix! Fold in the chocolate pieces after.
06 - Beat the cream cheese along with icing sugar and vanilla until velvety and smooth in texture.
07 - Scoop up 1 tablespoon of dough, shape into balls, and press to flatten slightly on the baking tray. Make a little indent in each, then spoon in the cheesecake mix.
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes. The cookies' edges should set while the center stays soft. The filling might puff up a bit.
09 - Leave the cookies to sit on the baking sheet for a short while, then shift them to a cooling rack to finish.
