Cheese Stuffed Shells (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 15 ounces of creamy ricotta cheese
02 - Jumbo pasta shells
03 - 8 ounces of shredded mozzarella
04 - Spaghetti sauce, your choice
05 - Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, about 1/2 cup
06 - 1 beaten egg
07 - 1 teaspoon of oregano, dried
08 - 1 tablespoon of finely chopped basil
09 - Salt as you like
10 - A few cracks of black pepper
11 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
12 - 1 tablespoon of parsley, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the pasta shells in salted water until just tender, following the package. Rinse, then drain them.
02 - Stir together the ricotta, grated Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until smooth.
03 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat.
04 - Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce all across the bottom of a baking dish.
05 - Scoop the cheesy filling into each shell, then neatly place them over the sauce in the baking dish.
06 - Scatter the shredded mozzarella over the stuffed shells generously.
07 - Cover the dish snugly with foil and bake for around 25 minutes.
08 - Take the foil off and return the dish to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
09 - Take the dish out of the oven, give it a few moments to cool down, and enjoy.
